In Spring 2018, LOCUM ran two “pop-up” experiences with three yoga teachers over the course of two days at a middle school in Los Angeles.
Students reported an average 29% increase in feelings of calm and 19% increase in feelings of focus after just one, forty minute lesson.
LOCUM is running a six-month pilot starting November 2018. We’ll be gathering data on how the program impacts student’s self-regulation skills acquisition and their performance in subsequent classes (“the ripple effect”).
